ジュニア先生は牧師の息子として生まれ、教会の楽器を自由に操り育ちました。毎週、教会で聖歌隊のメンバーとして歌う他、年2回のジャマイカで有名なコンベンションに参加する為に、ジャマイカ全国を廻って、有名な賛美歌をパフォーム。 1970年頃始め、ジュニアクワイヤー（5歳から12歳）に入り活動。1975年に聖歌隊のリーダー及びミュージックディレクター（12歳から30歳）となり、その後、結婚式やコンサートに出演。 現在は拠点を日本に移し、ソロでゴスペルシンガーとしても活動中。 ＜レパートリー＞ Amazing Grace, Down by the riverside, Oh Happy Day, Jesus is the answer, etc. JaLAスクールで本物のゴスペルをジュニア先生から学びましょう。 Gospel Music / Voice Training In Japan there are many gosple groups who love music, gosple and the rest but I haven't yet experienced the REAL gospel here. Most organizations seem to be more focussed on the business aspect rather than soulful melodies. It would be a treat to go to an event where hearts are meeting hearts. Soulful melidies can be achieved only when one acknowledge that we are in no position to bargain with our innermost feelings. We do not need to sing like the other guy or girl. We need not immitate anyone because the original will always be the original and so will the copy. Black, white, yellow, ????, are just what we can see. Words, music and fellings will always be the optimum means of communication. Just be yourself and let the gosple vibes flow. Instructor Junior was born in a christian family and grew up in church where he got his first calling for gospel music. He'd be in church as a member of the choir or the choir master almost every day. In the early '70s he became the leader of the Junior Choir with ages ranging from 5 to 12 and led them to the main gosple event which took place twice a year in Kingston, Jamaica. By 1975 he stepped up to training the Young People's Choir as the Music Director and created waves in the organization with his unique arrangements and performances. Since then he moved on to R&B, Reggae, Jazz, Blues and Folk songs but at no time did he ever give up gospel which is the foundation of his music career as you can hear in his recent CD production.
